He also explained things I did not understand. He was very professional and caring during the process of selling my home. He kept me in the loop when there was a potential buyer.

We were physically separated from the state and home that we wanted to purchase. CA took the time to go to each and every property that we were interested in and take thorough videos of the houses and land for us. She considered all of our wants and needs when visiting homes. This was a great help as we had no way to see the homes for ourselves, being 1300 miles away. I don't know of many real estate agents that would've gone through that trouble for us, but she did. And she never made us feel like we were overwhelming her with all the requests. She was always pleasant to speak with. And when we finally narrowed it down, CA went to all of the inspections for us and kept on top of all of the things that needed to be addressed. CA was absolutely amazing as a agent for us. Couldn't have asked for better. We would wholeheartedly seek her out again should the need arise. And we most certainly recommend her to anyone who is in the market for a home and needs a real estate agent that makes you feel like you're her only client and will find you the home that you've always wanted. As a first time home buyer, my husband and I were unsure regarding how this process works. Kevin helped make it a great experience!

We had visited the Columbia / Lexington area from our home in Summerville looking for a home to purchase, and had dealt with 1 or 2 other realtors with different companies. We found these realtors weren't paying close attention to our wants and needs which wasted a lot of our time traveling to the area house shopping. Once we reached out to Matt and started being shown homes, we knew right away he was the Realtor for us. He understood our time constraints from traveling from out of town to "house hunt", listened very carefully to what both my wife and I were looking for and tried to accommodate every detail. He was very very knowledgeable of the Lexington / Columbia area and not only helped find us a great home but also a great neighborhood. Matt demonstrated excellent realtor skills, not once did we feel like he was trying to make a quick sale with a lot of "fluff". He would always ask after a showing what we liked about the house and listened intently when we communicated our dislikes and tried to address these in the next showings. Matt was always quick to respond with questions or concerns all the way up to our closing date. If we ever need or need to recommend a realtor we have Matt Hortons number on speed dial!

As an example of this dedication to providing great service, I was an out of state buyer and Kevin made it a point to attend all appointments on our behalf and traveled to numerous homes to make videos to share with us as we searched for our new home. We ended up finding and purchasing a home almost entirely from out of state with Kevin’s assistance and guidance. All the while Kevin kept us informed and was the most pleasant person to deal with. To say he goes the extra yard is an understatement. I had entered an agreement with my oldest grandson for a sale of land and a travel trailer. After 17 months he wanted out and asked if he could sell. I agreed and James listed the property. It was contracted quickly and a death in the buyers family delayed the closing for a period of time. James kept us updated daily. When the closing was scheduled the buyer contacted his agent and told him of a "hell of a mess" on the acreage he was buying. My grandson simply left a mountain of trash. James contacted him and my grandson basically told him he was broke and it was not his problem. James took it upon himself to get a truck, make several trips to the county dump and ensure acreage was in suitable condition to conclude the sale. He did this at his own risk, and expended about $300.00 Again, my grsndson thought it was his problem. I did reemburse James, but he had not expected it. This is above and beyond and reflects the quality of agent he is.
